Regular organised events are held in Changchun. Locals, expats and
tourists are all welcome to attend these entertaining get togethers.
The generators are fired up and the siren sounds at 9 pm, the doors are
then locked (the main door and safety exits in reality are accessible
and remain unlocked of course at all times as these are theatrical
events). The all-clear is sounded at 11 pm, but by no means has the
party ended.
